On October, 22nd, 1984, 22-year-old Revital Sery and 23-year-old Ron Levy, both students at the Hebrew University on Mount Scopus in Jerusalem, went for a hike in a Wadi near Krimizan monastery near Jerusalem. On their way they met a Palestinian who had stolen a weapon from a soldier. The terrorist captured the two, tied them up and shot them from close range.
The monument to their memory is standing at the University between the archeology building and the Buber Ross building, made by Yosef Asa. The monument was erected in 1988.
