On Sunday, June 19th 1988, 33-year-old Eli Cohen went out with his tractor to spray his vineyard in Shekef. He was attacked by terrorists armed with knifes. They stabbed him seven times and smashed his face with a rock.
A friend who wet out to work found him later that day.
