On Friday, November, 11th 1994, Hezi Sapir, a reserve officer, went to his guardpost on the road to Netzarim in the Gaza Strip. He had a few officers in the group with him.
They walked from their Jeep toward the Netzarim junction. A suicide terrorist arrived on a bicycle, carrying 5 Kilos of explosives, and blew himself up.
Captain Hezi Sapir, aged 36, Lieutenant Yotam Rahat, aged 31, and Captain Dror Elad, aged 24, were killed.
