On Monday afternoon, January 29th, 2001, 54-year-old Arieh Hershkovich was on his way home from work, when terrorists passing Arieh's car shot him. Arieh was killed.
Three months after Arieh's murder, on May 1st, 2001, Arieh's son Asaf Chaim Hershkovich, aged 30, was killed by terrorists while driving the same road.
