On Tuesday evening, August 19th 2003, a suicide terrorist exploded on board bus route 2 in Jerusalem while going in Shmuel Hanavee street in Beit Israel neighborhood. The bus was packed with people returning from the western wall prayers to their homes.
Over hundred people were wounded, 23 people were killed.
