Attack's place

On Friday afternoon, March 29th 2002, Pesach vacation, a sixteen years old woman suicide terrorist blew her self up at the entrance to the super market in Kiriyat Yovel in Jerusalem.

Some 30 people were injured, two were killed, Rachel Levy, 17 and a half years old, and Haim Smadar, 55, the local security guard.

Rachel stood at the entrance to the shop near the terrorist and died on spot. A much bigger disaster was avoided thanks to the brave security guard, Haim Smadar who suspected the terrorist and pushed her away from the crowd.
