Center of Moshav

On November 3rd, 1938, at broad day light, a gang of armed Arabs attacked Binyamin Berman while he stood guard watching a group of workers laying an electricity cable on the Acre Rosh Hanikra road. Binyamin managed to defend the group and to kill one of the attackers but eventually he was overtaken and killed by the large number of attackers.

On the fifth anniversary to Shavei Zion a commemoration site was created in his memory.
