On Thursday afternoon, August 3rd, 2006, the fourth week of the Second Lebanon war a siren was heard in the city of Acre.
After the explosions were heard people started to come out from the bomb shelters, some to take a bite of fresh air and some to have a smoke to relieve the tension. Another rocket fell without warning killing those that were outside.

Killed in the rocket attack are Arie Tamam, 50 years old, his brther Tiran, 39, Mazal Zaribi, 15 years old and her father Shimon, 44 and Albert Ben Abo, 40.

The monument in their memory was erected at the place they died.
