On March 28th, 2001, Naftali Ben-Zion Lanzkrun, 13 years and 3 months old, went from his house to the Yeshiva in Kedumim where he learned.
In the Gas station near Neve Yemin a group of students gathered waiting for the shooting protected bus that will take tham to the Yeshiva. A Terrorist carrying a large explosive charge approached and exploded near the group.
Naftali and his friend Eliran Rozenberg were killed on spot.

On the path leading from Peduel to Dir-Kalaa (The monastery fortress - a Byzantine fortress, one of the beautiful that remained in Israel), a place that was called by Arik Sharon “Israel’s porch”, from that place on a normal day one can see the Mediterranean sea from Hadera to Ashkelon. There his friends placed a swing in his memory.
His friends from elementary school built the swing and paced it there on 2006, in that same place they planted 5 of the seven fruits and grains mentioned in the Bible as typical of the land of Israel.
From the swing one can view Naftali’s home in Petach Tikva.
