The road from Tapuach junction to Nablus

On June 20th, 2002, a terrorist entered the settlement of Itamar and the house of the Shabo family. The terrorist murdered the mother Rachel Shabo and her three sons, Neria, Zvika and Avishai. Yossef Twito, 40 years old, who was the security chief on call that night heard the shots, took his weapon and ran to the Shabo home. The terrorist that was still in the house shot him and killed him.

The road from Tapuach junction to Shchem (Nablus) is called Yossef road in his memory.
