On March 7th, 2002, a Hamas terrorist penetrated the Atzmona prep school in the southern part of Gush Katif. The Terrorist started shooting and throwing grenades at the school and at the quarters where the students lived.
Tens were wounded, five students were killed, among the five was Arial Zana, 19 years old.
