On July 19th, 2014, during the “Protective Edge” operation in Gaza, Hamas terrorists penetrated Israel through a tunnel, in the fire battle that broke near Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha, Adar Bersano, 20 years old was killed.
In his memory a fire brigade training center was built in the city of Nahariya. The place is used as training for fire fighters and youth volunteers which are participating in firefighting activities.
