On Thursday August 9th 2001 a Palestinian suicide bomber exploded inside the “Sbaro” restaurant at the corner of Yaffo and King George streets in Jerusalem.
15 people were killed and 130 wounded.
Amongst the dead were the five members of the Schivschurder family. The mother Zirel, 42 years old, her husband Mordechai, 44, and their children Chemda, two years old, Yitzhak, 4 and Raaya 14.
