On Sunday March 31st 2002 many people were dining in the “Matza” restaurant in Haifa.
A suicide bomber entered the restaurant and exploded killing 15 people, tens were wounded.
The explosion caused a big fire and great destruction, the restaurant roof caved in on the people in the restaurant.
Daniel Menchel, 22 years old died on spot.
She is commemorated by her family in a playground in Haifa.
