Moshav Center

On Friday morning, 22nd of May 1970 a regular trip of children bus driving school students from Moshav Avivim to the school in Dovev took place. On the bus were 30 school students from first to third grade students, a couple of teachers and two adults catching a ride. The bus went into Kibutz Baraam and went back to the main road to Dovev. Suddenly three bazooka missiles fired by terrorists coming from Lebanon were fired at the bus. 12 passengers were killed, most of them children, tens wounded.

The children were buried in a special plot in Zefat Cemetery.

In the center of Moshav Avivim where all casualties lived there's a monument commemorating them.
