On December 19th, 1937, Shimon Less, 28 years old rode his bike distributing milk to his patrons in Beit Hakerem neighborhood in Jerusalem.
Shimon was shot from the ambush and was killed.
The period was known as the Big Arab rebellion 1936-1939 where Jews were attacked and killed daily on their home and in their work.
